The city of Zurich, the place where the Swiss Reformation began, is making preparations for the celebration of 500 years Reformation. In the charming village Wildhaus, where Ulrich Zwingli’s house can be visited, people of church, state and tourism are cooperating to offer interested people from far and near a great trip. The first activity of many upcoming activities is a day tour to the main sights of Zwingli’s life.
Heidelberg Early Summer Procession (March 30, 2014)
The annual Heidelberg Early Summer Procession (Sommertagszug) takes place on the fourth Sunday after Mardi Gras and this year on 30 March. The procession begins at 3 p.m. in the so-called Kleine Plöck (behind Galleria Kaufhof by Bismarckplatz) and then passes through the Old City as far as Marktplatz.

Be Renewed - A Theology of Personal Renewal, published by Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht in the Reformed Historical Theology Series, is the new book of Willem van Vlastuin, assistant professor in systematic theology at VU University Amsterdam. Listening to Scripture and in conversation with a variety of theologians from the protestant tradition, van Vlastuin presents an up-to-date concept for a theology of personal renewal.
