Visit Reformation places in Germany and Switserland

This Reformation Tour, as we walk together in the footsteps of Luther and Calvin, offers us a unique opportunity to explore in a more meaningful way our own identities as Protestant believers in Jesus. As we are led by Dr. Sean Michael Lucas, who combines the heart of a pastor with the background of a church historian, we will learn about Luther, the brave monk who not only led a nation toward reform but also produced the New Testament in German, and Calvin, the French pastor-theologian who fled to Geneva and worked to see church and state under Christ’s Lordship. We will also hear about J.S. Bach, who served the Lutheran Church in Eisenach; Huldrych Zwingli, who failed to reach a concord with Luther at Marburg; Zacharias Ursinus, who wrote the most beautiful catechism of the Reformation; and Phillip Melanchthon, the brilliant consolidator of the Lutheran Reformation.
