Dordt College Chamber Orchestra on tour in Europe

The Dordt College Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Bradley Miedema is traveling in Germany and the Netherlands May 7 - 18, 2012 and will give a number of concerts in collaboration with Refo500 partners in Heidelberg, Strasbourg, Eisleben, Nordhausen and Apeldoorn.
Dordt College is a 4 year Christian liberal arts college located in the State of Iowa. The college has 1350 students who come from 30 U.S.states, 8 Canadian provinces and 14 other foreign countries. The college is consciously Reformed Christian and all disciplines are taught from that perspective. The tour was planned as a collaborative effort between the DCCO, Refo500 and Witte Travel & Tours in celebration of the upcoming 500 year anniversary of the Reformation.
The orchestra will have performances in Heidelberg, Strasbourg, Eisleben, Nordhausen, Apeldoorn and Katwijk aan Zee. The students will also visit Eisenach, Wittenberg, Leipzig, Halle, Bentheim as part of this tour. They will be performing a classical repertoire.
