This week the renowned Chongshin University (Seoul, Korea) became a project partner of Refo500 and has taken the position of academic coordinator for Asia. Refo500 in this way is expanding its activities further, already in June of this year a North American section was established.

According to Dr. In-Sub Ahn, professor of historical theology, Chongshin expects much of its participation in Refo500. 'It is our great pleasure to cooperate with Refo500. We are sure that Refo500 is a fascinating project that will really help us to build up the academic network concerning the topics of the Reformation era to an Asian context.' Refo500 is also pleased with this expansion, because Asia offers the project partners many opportunities and poses for them the challenge to develop the activities in a very different situation than that which they have worked thus far.
