Partnership
Refo500 is not connected to a church, confession or religion and is therefore interesting for many types of partners. This has also to do with the broad focus of Refo500, in which besides historical, theological and religious aspects, also social, political and cultural aspects have a place.
Partnership in Refo500 can mean:
• Early and substantive involvement in the events within the project. This means, for example, that educational and research institutions can have early involvement in conferences, book projects, and so forth; and can make use of current knowledge and contacts within the project. Therefore, these partners can guarantee and increase their (scientific) output and its appearance.
• Commercial partners within the project have first rights for example to printing, travel, publications, broadcasts, and so forth, so that they can make their partnership a profitable contribution;
• Stable PR with a logo and link listing on the website. Since this website is the source for all information on publications, concerts, lectures, and other activities on local, regional, national, and international levels, the site will have a high amount of web traffic.
• Because Refo500 is connected with similar sites elsewhere in the world, there is a compounded yield for partners
• Even when partners are not involved in certain parts of the project, the mutual use of the Refo500 logo and name still has an advertising effect
• Partners will reach new audiences through Refo500.
The benefits of a partnership also depend on the activity of the partner itself on the platform.
Project partners commit themselves to participate for the period of 2010-2013. Mid-2013 participation in the remainder of 2014 - 2017 can be considered.
Besides project partnerships, there are other forms of possible partnership, namely as a yearly partner or flex-partner. Refo500 strives through these partnerships to involve broad religious, political, social, and cultural constituencies in Refo500.
Partners are free to bring their own projects into Refo500, giving their own interpretation of the term Reformation. The Reformation will not be defined within the project or content.
