The John A Lasco Library in Emden will host the conference “The Doctrine of Election in Reformed Perspective, Historical Trajectories and Contexts of Controversy”, October 29-30, 2014. The aim of this conference is to present and discuss results of various subprojects of the research project “Early Modern Reformed Theology” (EMRT).
First Volume of the New Edition of the Acts of the Synod of Dordrecht Presented in Emden
Yesterday, the first volume of the Acts of the Synod of Dordrecht 1618/19 was presented during a conference at the Johannes a Lasco Library in Emden. This event brought the jubilee of the Great Synod quite a bit closer.
Acta et Documenta Synodi Nationalis Dordrechtanae (1618–1619)
Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht will publish the critical edition of all the documents of the Synod of Dordrecht in their original languages. This critical edition will comprise nine volumes. Editors are Don Sinnnema, Christian Moser and Herman Selderhuis. The first volume will be presented October 29 in Emden.
